Being the first person to see the image as the camera’s operator, I am the first to experience the emotional landscape of the scene. I strive to tell the story relying solely on the visual language between the director and DP. By prioritizing intuition over technicality, I aim to portray tenderness and vulnerability in my characters—two virtues I seek in my interpersonal relationships. In nature, any moment of mundanity offers infinite opportunities for perception. It is within these accidental instances that I find the tools to play with light, the element of visual storytelling with which I am most intentional and diligent.

To me, filmmaking is an investigation into the human mind. I want to create moving images that raise questions and inspire people to examine the intricacies of their lives, exploring who we are and what we seek. We should experiment with many different things, but most importantly, we must be willing to fail. You need the courage to be imperfect and risk everything to express it all.
