William Sheepskin is a photographer from Cape Town, South Africa. He spent some of his childhood years in Tanzania and Mauritius, as his family kept on relocating due to his father’s work. In later years, William moved to London and graduated with BA from the University of Arts.

His main interest in photography is exploring the democratic nature of the medium, with an emphasis on minute details in images and allowing them to form a "Punctum" for a scene that might otherwise be overlooked as simply focusing on spectacle.
‘As a 10 years old, I’d often spend days on the beach hanging out with the fishermen, observing their catch and messing around with the crustaceans they threw away. I suppose interactions like that taught me to treat everyone as equals.’
