Cameron Nedrick
Casting Director Berlin, Germany
Cameron Nedrick is a casting director based in Berlin. He initially pursued fashion design at university in London but realized it wasn't the right career path for him. Although he still creates clothing, it's mostly for personal use. During his studies, he collaborated with photographers on small shoots and personal projects, discovering a passion for working with models and booking them. This led him to transition into the field of casting. He began his career at Wilhelmina Models in London, quickly advancing from intern to model agent. After several years, he relocated to Berlin and shifted to the other side of the industry, becoming an in-house casting director at Zalando Studios for their creative photo and video productions. While working there, he also freelanced and developed a portfolio of editorial and commercial work, ultimately deciding to pursue freelance casting full-time.

I often collaborate with model agencies and engage in street casting, focusing on expanding my street casting roster in the upcoming months. My casting style tends to favor a minimal, clean, and crisp aesthetic, although I occasionally enjoy exploring a more busy and grungy look, depending on the concept. I prioritize casting diverse and interesting faces, as well as individuals of all body types and heights.
Working at Wilhelmina, I was part of the women's curve board, so diversity within fashion has been a focus throughout my career. I aim to continue promoting diversity with photographers who want to tell stories through their images, highlighting each person's uniqueness and individuality.
By bringing different cultures and identities onto the fashion stage, I hope to open people's eyes to differences and foster connections. While much of my commercial work may have limitations, I strive to challenge and change these restrictions to create more inclusive representations.
