Michiel van Maaren is a Casting Director and Model Scout living and working in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He specializes in street casting and finding beauty in everyone surrounding him. After he graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, in The Netherlands, he discovered that he was more interested in faces and people than fashion garments. Soon he began working as a model scout for various agencies in Amsterdam.

My main goal is to make beautiful projects with beautiful people in any form within the fashion industry. Giving people who would never think they could fit into the modeling world a platform. Reviving their true personalities is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.
