Gitla Brushel was born in 1988 and raised in the Northern District of Israel. She's a mother, multiparty artist, makeup, and hairstylist. She was named after her Romanian grandmother Gitla and was always connected to her roots and nature. From an early age, Gitla surrounded herself with art like painting, sculpturing, and writing music. Women's figures and feminine shapes of face and body inspired her visual creation, eventually leading to a complete understanding of what beauty means to her.

As a makeup artist, I like to keep things relatively simple. I believe in natural beauty, and I'm always looking for A specific aesthetic combined with imperfections. I find inspiration mostly in nature, like water flow. I use my hands and fingers on my model faces. I keep my makeup very minimalistic: a small amount of coverage, building it up gradually and only where needed.

‘From the hair styling perspective, I like to design it in a way that will contribute to the total look and provide a visual look that is not related to time and space. I'm not into changing the natural beauty but keeping the model's uniqueness and character.’

Seeking perfectionism is boring. True beauty is understanding that your imperfections make you stand out and make you who you are. And from that aspect, I'm looking to create and connect with artists who feel the same way.
