Patricia Heck is a hair and makeup artist based in Berlin. Having grown up in her mother's hair salon, she immersed herself in the world of hair in the mid-'90s, making it her initial passion. However, during her apprenticeship, Patricia realized her aspirations extended beyond salon life. She made the move to Berlin to broaden her skillset in makeup, and since 2012, Patricia has been working as a freelance hair and makeup artist. Her expertise spans across editorial, beauty, and commercial projects, showcasing her versatile talents in the industry.

While I value thorough preparation, I also cherish the freedom to work intuitively and allow things to unfold during the hair and makeup process. My looks typically lean towards a naturally minimalist style, but occasionally, I infuse a playful twist by incorporating various colors, shapes, and structured details. I enjoy collaborating with all the creative departments of a team, exchanging ideas, and drawing inspiration not only from styling but also from lighting and set design.

My goal is to create aesthetics that are pleasing to the eye by playing with hair and makeup, all while allowing nature to shine through. I aim to avoid concealing things and instead embrace authenticity. I visualize a balance between softness and roughness, light and shadow, minimalism, and the little details that break it.
