Growing up, I was always fascinated to see my mother get dressed for work - put on her beautiful raw silk saree and a red “Bindi” on her forehead. My work is heavily influenced by cultural nuances and memories.
As a visual artist, I thrive on exploring new styles and breaking stereotypes through my work. I am constantly pushing boundaries and experimenting with different directions to develop my practice. I find inspiration and fulfillment in collaborating with other Asian/South Asian creatives, sharing familiar beliefs, and influencing each other's artistic journeys.
I am focused on developing my practice through objects and exploring different cultures through my work to make it more authentic. I immerse myself in various aspects of art and fashion to stay in touch with the ever-changing world around me.
