Photography is a way in which I can slow down and become present in the moment. It is both an escape and a resting place that momentarily anchors my life. I am in search of the beauty of fleeting moments — that exist between the larger columns of my everyday life — to seek and capture scenes that resonate within me, to show the world the beauty that I am a witness to. My photography is a place of solitude, a retreat from the constant static. I am on the lookout for moments that can capture this type of personal place.
Photography is also a conduit for me to explore the feelings that can be difficult to express, whether that be clear or undefined. It is a medium in which I can interpret the world around me, an exploration of the quiet moments that slip between the edges of my life. My work is both documentary and momentary.
I'm looking for projects that inspire and work within contemplative minimalism with carefully told stories through elevated, ethereal imagery.
