Though some of her work has moved into the commercial and editorial sphere, Antonia strives to maintain a documentary style and perspective on her subjects. She focuses on people, their emotions, and their perception of themselves culturally and within society. Despite often staging scenes, she aims to capture her subjects with a documentary approach. Her projects have a casual feel, inspired by real life, capturing something raw and personal. She also seeks to convey a sense of dreaminess, fragility, and nostalgia, which is prevalent throughout her images.
Antonia seeks to capture people, places, and moments in time. She intends to create a collection of images that will develop into an archive of crucial friendships, lovers, family, and strangers, as well as landscapes, objects, and odd things that catch her eye. When traveling, she photographs abandoned buildings and sites rich in forgotten histories, exploring her sense of belonging within these spaces.
