Tia Liu is a fashion photographer currently studying at UAL in London. She has four years of working experience as a photographer in Shanghai, China. Tia studied journalism and finance, and since then, she found she was passionate about fashion and art. Tia decided she wanted to use the camera to capture those vulnerable and intimate moments in her life.

My work goes around fashion and portraits. I see the world from a female perspective. I like capturing the subtle emotions of my subjects, and I'm trying to find a balance between fashion and art.

I like photographs with emotion and temperature, and that is what I am delving into. I hope my subjects can be themselves and feel their own identities under my lens, although in terms of fashion photography, there is a 'performance' element, but I also hope those performances can present some real things and emotions.
