Damiani’s work explores themes of gender and personal identity, underpinned by emotions of longing, nostalgia, and vulnerability, which can come to light in the safe environments she creates for her art and subjects. Since graduating, she has been featured in esteemed publications that echo these sentiments, such as Schön! Magazine, WÜL MAGAZINE, and Infringe. She has also presented in global exhibitions, including Haute Photographie in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and The Faces of Womanhood in Outernet London.
Damiani walks the line between introspection and empiricism, offering commentary on the creative process from both personal and birdseye perspectives, rendering her work all the more compelling.
