I think my work is an exploration of details and silence. It's melancholic, peaceful, and joyful. My exploration had to do with figuring a taste for the unexpected, spontaneous, color, lighting, composition, and movement. I wasn't hoping to find something specific because I was always a believer that trying different techniques or styles would not only lead me to finding new ideas, but it would also allow me to get to know myself better.
Sometimes my work reminds me how fragile and vulnerable I can be. As I'm often surrounded by people (something that I'm really grateful for), I miss little memories, details, and those rare moments in my life that I try to replicate. It's a completely new experience whenever I see old work.
I'm currently working on a photo series called Diary. As I'm getting older, I'm experiencing new feelings, new memories, new thoughts, and new fears. It's personal work that might continue and grow with me as everything changes. It might remind me that I was once somebody who created, loved, and felt. Diary is a way to recreate fragility and silence, to experience hopeless thoughts and unique memories of my life again.
