Maria del Rosario Torrijos Fuertes, an Argentine photographer based in Madrid, has been captivated by the art of storytelling through images since her early years. Following her academic journey, she pursued Graphic Design at the University of Fine Arts in La Plata, Argentina, where she gained knowledge in color composition and typography. Throughout her studies, Maria discovered her deep-rooted passion for photography, prompting her decision to leave university and concentrate on fashion photography projects. She refined her skills at Vicente Viola photo school and Study Store in Buenos Aires.

I describe my style as clean and natural, aiming to showcase the beauty in imperfections using natural light. My focus is primarily on capturing portraits on film. Recently, I delved into film photography, taking on the challenge of developing my own film at home during quarantine. Eager to enhance my expertise, I seized the opportunity to travel to London and learn the art of printing film photos at Rapid Eye in Shoreditch—an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm looking to expand my work and create a more cinematic image. I feel very inspired by Wim Wenders' "Paris, Texas" and how Robbie Muller (DP) managed to create those moody scenes from the 70s in America.
