Clara García Garcés is a photographer from Barcelona. She studied graphic design but at a later stage discovered her passion for photography. In her images, Clara likes to explore her daily life, body, and experiences. Clara studied graphic design and documentary cinema. Three years ago, she went through a big loss, and at this time, Clara realized she needed to pursue what she loved the most.

I love documenting my daily life, focusing on things I wouldn't normally pay attention to. The fact I am carrying my camera turns these experiences into something more. I am most interested in sharing my view of the little things surrounding me. I love analog photography, and I aim to evolve my photography from a personal and intimate place to fashion photography. I love haptic images, which are the ones that transcend the imaginary and produce certain sensations for the viewer. This can be generated through the exploration of the image using different surfaces from the texture of the paper to the experience of having a photobook in your hands.

I started to work in the field of fashion photography in 2022. During the process I learned that I want to find a way to mix an intimate diary with fashion photography. I am interested in close-ups and details. I think it's about the way I see what surrounds me. When I am working on a new project, I try to start from a very personal place. Most of the time, I don't even realise what I am actually working on, and it isn't until I have finished that I see the images I have created are connected.
